Co-op day! The boys and I were up early today. Bible stories, cleaning, and getting ready have dominated our morning. I know that once we get finished with co-op and back home most of the day will be gone.

Piggies and chickens were doing well this morning. So were the cats and dogs.

We are redoing the capillary action experiment with the kids. Today we put white carnations in colored water. We are excited to see the results. Lovey – light blue. Happy – yellow. Sunshine – dark blue.

I found out last night that we have more kids in my first hour class. That puts us up to 8 kids and I am not sure our room will accommodate that many very well for our purposes. I mean, they will fit, but I don’t know that we will function well. I guess we will see. Also, not sure my teaching partner will make it today. So we are off to an interesting start already.

C.N.R. has a follow up appointment with the GP today. Hopefully we can find something out.

Finally back home and nearly settled. Co-op went really well for it to be a first day! My co-teacher for 1st hour was there and the room was already set up differently and it worked out great. 2nd hour for robotics from scratch went smoothly. These are older kids and it is such a change of pace. 3rd hour STEM went really well and the kids all seemed interested in what we were teaching.

After we left co-op we picked up some food. To our surprise, our friends were there too! So we went in and all ate together. It was nice, unexpected fellowship.

C.N.R. went to the doctor for a follow-up. They are thinking it is not sciatic pain and that is a thank you Jesus!

The kids and I got the boys checked in on the app for haircuts and then we went to the store for a bit while we waited. I found some kitchen towels that aren’t old, stained, and painted. We also grabbed a snack. The boys all have very handsome hair cuts.

Once we were home we unloaded all the co-op stuff and headed to the animals. The chickens were already in their coop and we had 1 more egg. The pigs were good and happy to get a bedtime snack and more water.

We came in and got cleaned up and ready for bed. This has been a loooong day. But it was been good. Family, friends, food. That is a hard day to beat.
