Tuesday was nonstop all day. We had to go to town to take a kiddo to an appointment, pick up an order, and then go do some volunteer cleaning.
The animals were good yesterday. C.B. was much easier to catch to feed.

He enjoys the food in peace once we can get him to it.

Big piggos.

The new wallow seems to be working well.

Silly cleaning kitties. They really like sitting in that spot. I think they believe it is for them rather than part of the porch fort.
Interesting fact. When we got the new paddock set up on Monday we forgot to turn the fence back on. I thought about it Tuesday morning before we left and called C.N.R. I double checked it and sure enough it was off. I turned it back on before we left. But that means pigs went over night without their fence being powered. I would say they are pretty well trained to it since they were all there Tuesday morning.
After town we stopped to do the volunteer cleaning. It was upholstery cleaning. I thought I would work for 2 or 3 hour and we would leave. But I really wanted to finish a big chunk of it and not have so much to do later this week. With that motivation C.N.R. came and took the kiddos home and I pushed through. I worked until 7pm. That was only 4 hours longer than I intended. Half the job is finished now and I should be able to be done in one more day of work.
I was so tired by the time I got home. C.N.R. had the kids fed and ready for bed. It was a pretty quick retreat to bed for me. The rest was much needed after such a full day.
It was a super full day, but it was a good day. It feels good to be with my people. It feels good to help do a job that needs to be done. Like a sweet friend has said, “See a need, meet a need”.
